Our Annual Members meeting is a chance for all members to have your say on important decisions around how the Toy Library is run, and who runs it. Your input is crucial for the continuous operation of the Toy Library.
This year’s meeting will be held on Tuesday 2nd September 2024 at 7.30pm at the Toy Library.

We provide treats and hot drinks, and kids are welcome (we have plenty of toys).
We will be electing the committee and will be discussing changes to membership and hire fees as well as approving our updated constitution.
If you have ever thought about maybe joining the committee this is a great opportunity to come along and have a chat.

Let us know what your favourite things are, what new toys you'd like to see and what we can do to improve. This information helps us with grant applications to fund new toys or operating costs and helps us know how to make things even more awesome.
This year we will draw one completed survey to receive a $50 credit on your Toy Library account!!! So make sure you fill it in!
We'll also have some paper copies in the Library if you prefer.

Celebrating our 30th Birthday!!
ExpiredA Huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and helped us to celebrate our birthday party, and especially to our committee and volunteers for your hard work ensuring everything ran smoothly!!!
Welcome to all of the new families who have joined our Toy Library whanau, we're so excited to get to know you and share our exciting toys with you.
The toy sale and bake sale were a great fundraiser so keep an eye out for new toys arriving soon!!!
Its never too late to pop in and visit the Toy Library, so if you didn't make it to the party just pop in and say hi on any of the days we're open!!
The Howick and Pakuranga Toy Library is turning 30!!
We are celebrating with a community open day birthday party. Everyone is welcome, come down and check out the Library and our awesome toys.
We will also have a second hand toy sale, bake sale and baby sensory sessions running!!
Its going to be so much fun!! See you there and bring all your friends.

As part of a new initiative to improve security and avoid scams, banks are starting to implement a system to check that the payee account name and account number match when making payments.
Please update your saved online banking information with our full correct details.
We have sent an email to all current members and there are posters up in the Library with our full account name and number.
Reminder we accept payments by bank transfer or cash only. We don't have eftpos or credit card facilities.

What a great year it has been for the Toy Library, we are so lucky to have so many wonderful families as part of our Library!! Thank you all!!
A special shoutout and thanks to all of our volunteers and our Librarians. Your hard work makes all the difference for our Library.
Each year we shut down over the summer holidays.
This summer our last day will be Thursday 19th December 2024.
We'll be back on Thursday 30th January 2025.
Special holiday rate for the long break: pay for four weeks and keep playing for 6+ weeks!!
All toys loaned after 6 December 2024 will be due back by 4th February 2024.
During this time our volunteers who reply to your emails and social media messages are also away so responses will be delayed too, please be patient with us while we spend summer with our families too.
